Entry at Peacock I is made easier by the presence of a deck and stair, built with materials donated by the NSS-CDS, NACD and others, and constructed by Dell Motes, Bill Rennaker and friends. A massive stair and deck assemblage makes getting in at Orange Grove easier. This, too, was built with materials donated by the NSS-CDS, NACD and others, and constructed by the state.

Today, volunteer efforts at the park are overseen by the Peacock Springs State Park CSO (Citizen Support Organization) committee, whose efforts have resulted in numerous improvements to park facilities. You can visit their website at peacocksprings.com.

Diving at Peacock Springs State Park is largely limited to certified Cavern and Cave divers, and cavern and cave diving students under instructor supervision. There are some restrictions on certified Cave Divers, such as no solo diving or use of scooters.

Recreational divers are only allowed in Orange Grove Sink when under the supervision of an instructor. Open water divers may also use the shallow basin at Peacock II, as it no longer is a cave entrance. For the most part, the park is used — and supported — exclusively by cave divers.
